Guides
On conference night
What to have open on the night: the Check-in page, Book for a family for walk ins, interpreter requests, and Message families.
Open your MessageGo inbox
No password. Enter your email, tap the link we send, and you stay signed in on that phone or computer for 30 days.
Parent-teacher conference template
The Parent-Teacher Conference template opens SchoolConferenceGo, where families book a time with each teacher.
Pay school fees by card
See what you owe the school and pay one fee or several at once by card from your family page. No account or app needed.
Post the school lunch menu
Import a month of menus from a CSV, type a day by hand, add a Pay for lunch link, and families see this week's lunch.
Print a teacher's schedule
Open the teacher link and tap Print, or Download CSV. The office can also filter the roster CSV from Reports.
Print emergency cards and class emergency rosters
Print one student's emergency card, or a whole class roster with allergies, who to call, and who may not pick up.
Print or save a signed permission slip
Open one child鈥檚 signed slip to print it or save it as a PDF for the trip folder, with answers, fee status, and who signed.
Professional development session signups
Let staff pick a training session or workshop time, with a cap on each, from one link. Track who came with check-in.
Read and answer family texts in Messages
Every text a family sends your school number lands in one inbox. Reply by text, match unknown numbers, and mark it resolved.
Read the "How was your conference?" family feedback
The morning after a night, families who checked in get one question, 1 to 5. If nobody was checked in, every booked family does. Read the results on Reports.
Read your ticket Earnings page
The Earnings page shows gross sales, SizzleGo fees, refunds, and what lands in your bank for every show, plus each payout date.
Quick answers
What meeting lengths can I use? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
Set Minutes each to any number from 5 to 60. Every teacher on that night gets the same length. There is no buffer setting between meetings. Use Breaks for a pause, like 17:00-17:30 for dinner, or let teachers block single times from their own link.
The length can be changed under Edit this night until the first family books. After that it stays fixed.
When and how will I get paid? 路 SignUpGo
Every payment, from paid spots, memberships, shop orders, and tournament entry fees, goes straight to your organization's own Stripe account. SizzleGo then pays out to your bank once a day, for every payment that has cleared in Stripe, usually about two business days after it is made. The payment fee is taken out when the payment is made. Go to Money to see what came in by tool and every payout to your bank. See How fast does money reach the bank?
When do we get our money? 路 EventTicketGo
Ticket money lands in your connected Stripe account as each order is paid. Each show then pays out to your bank about seven days after the event ends. The wait lets late refunds settle before cash leaves for the bank.
You can see the date on the event page, under Sold, as "Payout scheduled for" and a date. The Earnings page lists every show with its payout status: Scheduled, Paid out, or No payout, nothing sold. If a payout fails, the page says why. Write to hello@sizzlego.com and we sort it out.
If you move the event date, the payout date moves with it.
Where can families read an issue online? 路 GazetteGo
Every issue has its own web page. At the bottom of the email, click Read on the web. You can share that link with anyone. No account is needed.
To read it in Spanish, pick Espa帽ol in the language menu at the top of the page. The school's own words are translated for you. Dates stay as written.
Most items link to their own page, such as a signup sheet or a ticket page, so you can act on them right away.
Do not want these emails? Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any issue.
Where do I find my signup link again? 路 SignUpGo
Go to Signups and click the signup. If it is open, the Open card at the top has the link with Copy link, a QR code you can save or print, and Open public page. If it says Draft or Closed, click Publish or Reopen first. The link never changes.
Where does fee and permission slip money show up? 路 FrontOfficeGo
All of it shows on the Money page in the rail, next to tickets and fundraisers.
Card payments
- Fee and permission slip payments show in the By tool table on the FrontOfficeGo row.
- Each payment also shows in Recent activity.
- The money goes to your Stripe account and pays out to your bank. Next payout shows when it arrives.
- The school gets the full fee. Families pay the card processing on top.
- Refunds show as a minus in the Refunded column.
Cash and checks
- When you mark a fee Cash or Check, it shows as a line like Cash at the office.
- A note under the totals adds up all cash and checks taken at the office.
- That money is already in your hands, so it is never part of a payout.
Good to know
- Owners and admins can tap Download CSV on the Money page for your bookkeeper.
- For one fee, the fee page has its own Download CSV.
Which plan includes teams? 路 SignUpGo
Teams come with SignUpGo, so every plan has them, Free included. They used to need the School plan as a separate product called SportsHubGo.
Paid spots, tournaments with entry fees, and fundraisers follow their own product's rules.
Who can see appointment information? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
- School staff whose role includes Conferences see every booking on the night page, the Check-in page, and Reports.
- Each teacher sees only their own schedule, through their private link: parent and student names, comments, and interpreter requests. The link stops working a week after the night.
- Each family sees only their own appointment, through the link in their confirmation.
- Other families on the booking page see only which times are open. They never see who booked.
Anyone holding a private link can open it, so do not forward yours.
Who do ticket emails come from? 路 EventTicketGo
Ticket emails show the sender EventTicketGo via SizzleGo, from mail.sizzlego.com. Your organization's name and the event are in the email itself.
When a buyer hits reply, the reply goes to your address, not to us. Set it in Settings under Reply to email.
Buyers get these emails: the confirmation with their tickets, a note if you move their seat or change the date or venue, a refund notice, and a ticket someone sent them. These go out even when your credit balance is low, and they cost no credits.
Who owns our attendees' information? 路 EventTicketGo
You do. Every buyer goes into People, your organization's one contact list, and you can download each event's list with Download attendees (CSV).
We email your attendees only about their own tickets: confirmations, seat or date changes, refunds, and transfers. We do not run a marketplace, we do not sell or rent your list, and event pages carry no advertising trackers. Stripe takes the payment and our email service sends the tickets, and that is it.
See our privacy policy for the details.
Whose bank account does ticket money land in? 路 EventTicketGo
Yours. Go to Settings, then Billing, and press Connect Stripe under Payouts. Stripe asks for your organization and bank details. It takes about five minutes.
Each paid order goes to that Stripe account, minus the one payment fee if you chose to absorb it. Each show then pays out to the bank you linked, about seven days after it ends.
Good to know
- Until Stripe finishes checking your details, the page says payouts turn on soon. You can still sell once charges are on.
- Use Update payout details on the same page to change the bank.
- The same Stripe account also takes donations in SizzleGo.
Why did my message stop sending? 路 MessageGo
Messages use credits from your organization's one wallet. One credit is one cent. Email is 1 credit per family. A text is 3 credits for each 160 character part. The last screen before you send shows the cost.
If the wallet runs out partway, the send stops. You will see "The send stopped early" with how many families got it. The delivery report marks the rest Not sent: out of credits.
Fix it
- Go to Settings, then Credits, and click Add credits.
- Go back to Messages and send the same message again. Families who already got it will not get it twice.
- For a newsletter, open it and click Resume sending.
Good to know
- Turn on Refill automatically on the Credits page so this does not happen on a big night. It needs a card on file.
- An emergency alert is never stopped by a low balance.
- If a family was skipped for another reason, like no phone or opted out, adding credits will not change that. See See who got your message.
