Quick answers
Are we locked into a contract? · EventTicketGo
No contract, no monthly minimums, no exit fee. You pay per ticket sold and can stop whenever you like. A one-click CSV export of events and attendees isn’t in the dashboard yet — if you need a dump, ask us and we’ll pull it for you.
Can a donor get a refund? · FundDriveGo
An organization admin can issue a refund from their dashboard. If you don't hear back, contact us directly and we'll help route the request to the right organization.
Can buyers transfer tickets to someone else? · EventTicketGo
Yes, from the transfer link on their ticket page or email: they enter the new attendee’s name and email, the ticket updates, the old QR stops working, and the new guest gets a confirmation. The door greets the right person by name.
Can I add my own logo and brand colors? · SignUpGo
Yes. Complete the Branding Onboarding (or open Settings > Branding) to upload your logo and pick a primary color. Your branding then appears on every event page and confirmation email automatically.
Can I add new teachers after the conference is published? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes. Add them anytime from the Teachers page. Their slots will immediately appear on the parent booking page. Great for last-minute additions or substitute teachers.
Can I cancel anytime? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel before your next billing cycle and you won't be charged again. Your data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind.
Can I change fee modes? · EventTicketGo
Fee mode is chosen per event and locks as soon as the first ticket sells . Until then, switch it freely in event setup. After a sale, it stays put — changing it would restate what buyers were already charged and what you are owed. Set the mode you want before you go on sale; a future event can use the other one. Card processing always follows the same side as the 79¢ fee and can’t be split. Founding venues keep this pricing as we grow.
Can I charge per-team or per-player for a tournament? · SignUpGo
Both. In the tournament wizard you can pick per-team, per-player, or combine them (e.g., a team fee plus optional per-player merchandise). Per-team is simpler for most tournaments; per-player is best when you're building teams from individual signups.
Can I customize the event signup form? · SignUpGo
Yes. You can add custom fields to collect additional information from participants. Custom fields can be text, number, date, or dropdown options, and are available in every template.
Can I invite other team members to help manage events? · SignUpGo
Yes. Open Settings > Team, click Invite Team Member, and pick a role: Admin, Editor, or Viewer. They'll get an email to join your organization - no shared passwords required.
Can I move an attendee to a different slot? · SignUpGo
Yes. Open the event's Attendees tab, click the attendee, and hit Move to reassign them to another slot. An email with the updated details is sent automatically, and their payment status is preserved.
Can I review events before they go public? · CalendarGo
Yes. You can set a calendar so submitted events need approval before they go live. Submissions land in a pending queue where you approve or decline each one, so nothing shows on the public calendar until you say so.
Can I run conferences over multiple days? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes. When creating your event, select multiple dates. Each day can have different time ranges—for example, 3-8pm on Thursday and 8am-12pm on Friday.
Can I see which families haven't signed up yet? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes! The Reports section shows booking statistics. If you've uploaded a student roster, you can see which families haven't scheduled yet and send them reminder emails.
Can I try it before committing? · SchoolConferenceGo
Absolutely! Start with our free Starter plan (up to 10 teachers, 1 conference) or take a 14-day trial of our Growth plan. No credit card required to get started.
Can I upload an event image for a tournament? · SignUpGo
Yes. Tournaments support event image uploads just like other ticketed event templates. Add the image in the creation wizard - it appears above the signup form on your public tournament page.
Can I use this for virtual conferences? · SchoolConferenceGo
Absolutely. Add your Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams links to the event or per-teacher. Parents see the video link in their confirmation email and calendar invite.
Can issues send automatically? · GazetteGo
Yes. Turn on the schedule and GazetteGo builds and sends the issue for you on the cadence you set, pulling in whatever is coming up at that time. You can turn it off any time and go back to sending by hand.
Can parents book multiple teachers? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes! Parents can book one slot per teacher, but there's no limit to how many different teachers they can schedule. Perfect for families with multiple children or students with several teachers.
Can teachers block off break times? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes! You can set school-wide breaks (like lunch) when creating the event, or teachers can mark specific slots as unavailable from their portal. Both show as blocked to parents.
Can we block off seats? · EventTicketGo
Yes. When we build (or update) your map, seats can be marked blocked so they never go on sale — tech booth sight lines, holdbacks, and the like. Separately, you can issue comps from the organizer tools for board members or guests. Live one-tap block toggles on the night-of map are not in the dashboard yet; tell us what to hold and we update the chart.
Can we see who's sitting where, and move people? · EventTicketGo
Tap any sold seat to see the attendee, their party, and whether they’ve arrived. You can move them to better open seats; their existing ticket QR keeps working and shows the new seat at the door, and they get a “Better seats” email. It’s the nicest surprise you can give a loyal member.
Can we sell member pricing, VIP packages, or merch? · EventTicketGo
Multiple ticket types with different prices (member, student, and so on), optional row restrictions, and perk badges at the door. Series packages and paid add-ons (merch, donations, extras) sell at checkout. Scanner redeem-at-merch-table for add-ons is not built yet — add-ons are sold and recorded on the order; fulfillment at the table is still manual. Pay-what-you-can pricing is not in the buyer flow yet.
Do I need to install any software? · SchoolConferenceGo
No installation required. School Conference Go is entirely web-based and works on any device with a browser. Teachers and parents don't need to download anything either.
Do our attendees need an account or an app? · EventTicketGo
No. Buyers pick seats on the map, pay with a card (Apple Pay and Google Pay when Stripe offers them on their device), and their ticket arrives by email with a QR code per seat. The email is the ticket. No passwords, no downloads, no printing required. Morning-of reminder emails are not scheduled yet — buyers keep the original confirmation.
Do parents need to create accounts? · SchoolConferenceGo
No accounts required. Parents just enter their name, email, and student name when booking. It's intentionally frictionless—we know parents are booking from their phones during lunch breaks.
Does a donor need to create an account to give? · FundDriveGo
No. Giving takes an email address (for the receipt) and a card or Apple Pay/Google Pay — no login, no password, no account required.
How are brackets generated and displayed? · SignUpGo
When you click Start Brackets, the engine seeds teams based on pool standings and builds a single-elimination bracket. It renders as an interactive SVG tree on desktop and a stacked card view with round tabs on mobile, so captains and spectators can follow along from any device.
How do accessible (ADA) seats work? · EventTicketGo
Accessible seats are marked on your map and sell through the same page at the same prices. Buyers can pick additional seats in the same order (including nearby seats for companions). We never ask for proof of disability . We do not yet enforce companion-only pairing or ADA release timers in software — those are managed with you when we set up the chart.
How do I change or cancel a conference booking? · SchoolConferenceGo
Open the booking link from your confirmation, cancel the time you have, and pick a new open slot. That is the whole change: cancel, then rebook. Cancelling frees your old time for another family right away.
How do I create a Parent-Teacher Conference event? · SignUpGo
Select the Conference template, add your teachers (or import via CSV), set your time range and slot duration, then generate time slots. You can customize slots, add breaks, and configure reminders before publishing.
How do I handle walk-in conferences? · SchoolConferenceGo
Use our 'List' conference type instead of timed slots. Parents sign up for a teacher's list and come in order. Great for open-house style events.
How do I import my teacher roster? · SchoolConferenceGo
Go to Dashboard → Teachers → Import CSV. Download our template, paste in your teachers' names and emails from your existing spreadsheet, and upload. We'll create accounts for everyone automatically.
How do I import teachers via CSV? · SignUpGo
When creating a Conference event, you can import teachers by uploading a CSV file with columns for name, email, and optionally phone number. This saves time when setting up large conferences.
How do I send reminders to attendees? · SignUpGo
Every event supports email and SMS reminders. Enable them in the event wizard's Reminders step and pick a lead time (24h email + 2h SMS is the most effective combo). Reminders queue automatically based on each slot's start time.
How do I set up Stripe payments? · SignUpGo
Go to Settings > Payouts and connect your Stripe account. Complete the payout information form with your bank details. Once set up, you can enable ticket sales or payments in any event.
How do I share calendar access with staff? · CalendarGo
You can grant staff access to a calendar at the level you choose, so more than one person can add and update events. Grants are per calendar, and you can change or remove them any time.
How do messaging credits work? · SchoolConferenceGo
Confirmations and reminders use messaging credits at $0.01 each. Email costs 1 credit; SMS costs 3. Plans include a starting balance, and you can buy more anytime. Credits never expire.
How do messaging credits work? · SignUpGo
Each paid plan includes a monthly-resetting SMS credit allowance. SMS reminders, tournament match reminders, and score alerts all draw from that bucket. You can see remaining credits in Settings > Messaging and top up anytime or complete onboarding tasks to earn bonus credits.
How do parents sign up for appointments? · SchoolConferenceGo
You share a single booking link (or QR code). Parents search for their child's teachers, pick available times, and confirm. They get an instant email with all their appointments and calendar invites.
How do teachers access their schedules? · SchoolConferenceGo
Teachers receive an email with a secure login link to the Teacher Portal. They can view their appointments, see parent names, and print their daily schedule. No password setup required—they log in with their email.
How do teachers see their schedule? · SchoolConferenceGo
Teachers do not need a password or an account. Each teacher gets a private link to their own portal, where they see their booked times, the parent names, and can print their day. If a teacher loses the link, an admin can resend it.
How does our auditorium become a seat map? · EventTicketGo
Send us your seating diagram — even a photo of a paper one — and we build your interactive map for you, free , including row letters, seat numbers, and ADA positions. You review it, we adjust, and you’re selling. There’s no self-serve map builder yet; onboarding is white-glove on purpose.
How does QR code check-in work? · SignUpGo
When participants register for events with tickets, they receive a QR code via email. On event day, use the Scan feature in your dashboard to scan QR codes for quick check-in. The system tracks who has checked in and prevents duplicate scans.
How does the spending cap protect me? · AdGo
AdGo checks spend against your cap on a schedule, with a safety margin. As spend nears the cap, it reduces the daily budget, and it pauses the campaign rather than let it go over. The cap you set is the most it can ever spend.
How does the volunteer/staff QR scanner feature work? · SignUpGo
Click Staff Access on any ticketed event (or Gate Scanner on a tournament) to generate a secure 24-hour scanner link. Share the QR code or link with volunteers - they can scan tickets immediately without any account setup. The link automatically expires after 24 hours for security.
How fast does money actually reach the school's bank account? · FundDriveGo
Once a donation is processed, funds move to the organization's connected bank account on a rolling schedule (typically within a couple of business days), not a monthly batch. FundDriveGo doesn't hold funds in an intermediate account.
How is a participant's privacy protected? · FundDriveGo
A participant profile (often a student) is deliberately minimal — first name and last-initial only, never a full last name. A photo appears only if the organization uploads one, and organizations are required to confirm they have appropriate consent before a campaign goes live.
How is the platform fee calculated? · SignUpGo
The platform fee is a small percentage of each transaction (plus a fixed per-transaction amount) that depends on your plan tier. The Sports plan and higher tiers have lower fees than Free. You see the fee line-itemed in the Financial Summary so there are no surprises.
How long does it take to set up my first conference? · SchoolConferenceGo
Most school admins are up and running in 15-20 minutes. You'll create your event, set time slots, import your teacher list via CSV, and share the booking link with parents. Our setup wizard guides you through every step.
I missed the share modal. Can I get back to it? · SignUpGo
Yes. Any event with zero sign-ups and more than 24 hours since publish shows a "No sign-ups yet - share this event" banner on its dashboard card. Click it to reopen the same share tools. You also get a nudge email after 24 hours if sign-ups haven't started, with the links inline.
Is FundDriveGo connected to SignUpGo or EventTicketGo? · FundDriveGo
Yes — FundDriveGo is part of the Sizzle Go Suite. A family with an existing SignUpGo or EventTicketGo profile can check out on FundDriveGo without creating a new account from scratch.
Is it free to start a campaign? · FundDriveGo
Yes. There's no charge to create an organization or launch a campaign. Fees only apply per donation, and they're itemized for the donor before they give — never a signup or subscription cost to the school.
Is parent and student data secure? · SchoolConferenceGo
Yes. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Our servers are hosted on AWS with SOC 2 compliance. We never sell data to third parties.
Is there a fee on free events? · EventTicketGo
No. Free seats and RSVPs cost you nothing for ticketing. They get the same seat map, QR tickets, and door experience as paid events. If you sell paid merch or add-ons on a free event, the usual 2% add-on fee and Stripe processing still apply to those extras.
Plans, credits, and billing · Account & billing
Every SizzleGo product is free to try, with one live thing per product at a time and 50 credits a month. Unlock one product for its own price, or take all seven on the SizzleGo plan for $499 a year ($399 for verified schools and nonprofits). Billing is annual, and you can cancel any time from Settings; you keep what you paid for until the year ends.
Credits pay for messages: one credit is one cent, an email is 1 credit, and a text is 3 credits per 160 characters. Included credits refresh every month, and credits you buy never expire.
See the pricing page for the full table.
We've never run a ticketed event before. Is that a problem? · EventTicketGo
Not with us. The door needs zero training beyond “point your camera here.” We’re built for small venues and nonprofits, not arenas — and we’re happy to walk your first show night with you if you want a second set of eyes.
What about chargebacks? · EventTicketGo
When Stripe opens a dispute, we record it, mark the order and tickets as disputed so they won’t check in, and alert our ops team. We do not automatically file evidence packets with Stripe yet — you’ll still work the dispute in Stripe (or with us by email) using your order and check-in records. As is standard, dispute liability sits with the event organizer.
What about credit card processing? · EventTicketGo
Card processing (typically 2.9% + 30 cents through Stripe) passes through at cost; we don’t mark it up. Buyers see one line before they pay: “Ticketing + processing” (our 79¢ plus card fees when you pass them through). Per event, you choose whether buyers pay those fees or you absorb them.
What conference lengths do you support? · SchoolConferenceGo
You choose: 10, 15, 20, or 30-minute slots. You can also add buffer time between appointments so teachers aren't running back-to-back all day.
What data do you collect about students? · SchoolConferenceGo
Very little. We only store the student's name (so teachers know who the appointment is about) and which parent is booking. We don't collect grades, health info, or educational records—just scheduling data. You can request data deletion anytime.
What do our door volunteers need? An app? Accounts? · EventTicketGo
Nothing to install. On event night, you open your dashboard and show a staff QR; each volunteer points their phone camera at it and the phone becomes a scanner in the browser. No app store, no passwords, no staff accounts to create or revoke. Access is limited to that event and expires a few hours after start on its own.
What do staff see when they scan a ticket? · EventTicketGo
A full-screen greeting: “Welcome, Steve.” plus the row and seats, large enough to read at arm’s length. Ticket-type perks you configured appear as gold badges. A duplicate scan shows “Already in” with the earlier check-in time, which quietly ends ticket-sharing.
What do the weekly reports tell me? · AdGo
Each week AdGo emails a plain summary of what the campaign did, in numbers you can read at a glance, including how many tickets it helped sell for the event. Every number in the report is checked before it is sent.
What do we need to start selling? · EventTicketGo
Three things: Stripe Connect onboarding from your Payouts page, a seating diagram so we can build your map, and your event details (dates, prices, copy). Most of the calendar time is map-building and a quick review with you — then you publish and sell.
What does EventTicketGo cost? · EventTicketGo
79 cents per paid ticket. Flat. Never a percentage of your ticket price. No subscription, no setup fee. Extras like merch and experience add-ons carry a separate 2% platform fee. Free and RSVP events cost nothing for tickets.
What does SchoolConferenceGo cost? · SchoolConferenceGo
SchoolConferenceGo is free to try. The free plan includes every product with one live thing at a time and 50 credits a month.
The full plan is $399 a year for one school ($329 for verified schools and nonprofits): unlimited conference nights, 3 admin seats, and 500 credits a month. There are no per teacher or per student fees. Billing is annual. See the pricing page.
What does SignUpGo cost? · SignUpGo
SignUpGo is free to try. The free plan includes every product with one live thing at a time and 50 credits a month, with a small SizzleGo badge on public pages.
Unlock SignUpGo for $144 a year ($120 for verified schools and nonprofits): unlimited signups, 3 admin seats, and 500 credits a month. Or take all seven products on the SizzleGo plan for $499 a year. Billing is annual. See the pricing page for the full table.
What fees does a donor actually pay? · FundDriveGo
A processing fee and a FundDriveGo platform fee, both shown before checkout. A donor can choose to cover that fee so the organization receives the full gift; if they opt out, it's deducted from the gift instead — either way, the amount is never hidden or bundled in after the fact.
What happens if a campaign doesn't reach its goal? · FundDriveGo
The organization keeps every dollar raised regardless of whether the goal was hit — a fundraising goal is a target to rally around, not a threshold that has to be met for donations to count.
What happens if I publish a paid event before connecting Stripe? · SignUpGo
You can still publish. You'll see a "Set up payouts to receive funds" banner on the event and a red dot next to Settings in your sidebar until Stripe Connect is set up. Buyers can still pay - the funds just accumulate in Stripe and pay out once your account is connected. The Connect backlog processor sweeps any historical payments automatically.
What happens if we have to cancel an event? · EventTicketGo
From the organizer tools: cancel and refund every paid order, or message all ticket holders without canceling (for reschedules and parking chaos). Buyers get a plain-language email with your note attached.
What happens to our data if we cancel? · SchoolConferenceGo
You can export all your data anytime. After cancellation, we retain data for 30 days (in case you return), then permanently delete it. You can request immediate deletion if needed.
What happens to your fee when we refund someone? · EventTicketGo
On full refunds, we refund our 79 cents too. One honest caveat: Stripe does not return its card processing fee on refunds (true on every platform), which is why you set the refund policy per event.
What if a teacher is absent on conference day? · SchoolConferenceGo
From your admin dashboard, you can cancel all appointments for that teacher with one click. Parents automatically receive an email notification and can rebook with a substitute if you've added one.
What if our event doesn't need assigned seats? · EventTicketGo
Today EventTicketGo is built for reserved seating. Every event needs a seat map. General admission (capacity-only, no assigned seats) is on the roadmap — we’ll say so rather than pretend it ships today.
What if our lobby Wi-Fi is bad? · EventTicketGo
The scanner talks to our servers over the phone’s connection, so cellular data usually works when lobby Wi‑Fi doesn’t. Confirmation is typically quick on a normal LTE connection. A fully offline mode for dead-zone venues is on the roadmap — we’ll say “roadmap” rather than pretend it exists today.
What if someone can't find their ticket or their phone died? · EventTicketGo
Staff can paste or type the ticket code from the confirmation email into the scanner if the camera can’t read a dim screen. Name-search check-in on the door phone is not built yet — for stuck guests, look up the order in your organizer attendees list and use the ticket link or code from there. Door-side bounce flags are also still on the to-do list.
What is a Sports Tournament and how is it different from a ticketed event? · SignUpGo
A Sports Tournament is a purpose-built event type for running competitions. It includes team or player registration, auto-generated pools and brackets, a court-aware schedule, spectator entry tickets, merchandise sales, and SMS match reminders. A ticketed event is simpler - it's designed for selling seats to a performance or game, not managing competition flow.
What is AdGo? · AdGo
AdGo runs one straightforward ad campaign for one of your events, and it never spends past a cap you set. You answer a few questions, approve a plain English plan, and it does the rest. Each week you get a simple report, in plain numbers, of what it did.
What is GazetteGo? · GazetteGo
GazetteGo turns your upcoming dates into one tidy newsletter. It pulls what is coming up across your signups, tickets, fund drives, and calendar, lays it out as an issue, and sends it to your families. There is a web version too, so anyone can read it in a browser.
What is the share modal that pops up after I publish an event? · SignUpGo
When you publish an event for the first time, a share modal opens with a one-click Copy link, a downloadable QR code, and prefilled SMS, email, Twitter/X, Facebook, and LinkedIn share buttons. Sharing in the first 24 hours drives roughly 5x more sign-ups than not sharing, so we make it one tap away. It fires once per event and never repeats on re-publish.
What kinds of campaigns can I run? · FundDriveGo
FundDriveGo runs two kinds of campaign:
- Donations. A shared drive with a thermometer. Participants get their own page and link, and supporters give as guests with no account.
- Pledge per unit. Supporters pledge an amount per lap, page, or minute, like a walk-a-thon or read-a-thon. When the results are in, pledges are charged automatically.
When and how will I get paid for tournament or event revenue? · SignUpGo
Once your Stripe Connect account is connected, net revenue (gross minus platform fee) transfers automatically through a daily payout cron. You can see the live breakdown on each tournament's Overview tab - team registrations, entry tickets, merch, gross revenue, platform fee, and your net payout.
When do we get our money? · EventTicketGo
Ticket sales land in your Stripe Connect balance as they come in. We pay that balance out to your bank about seven days after the event ends — after the refund window, not immediately per sale. That timing is deliberate so refunds can settle cleanly before cash leaves for the bank.
Where can families read an issue online? · GazetteGo
Every issue has its own web page. Families who would rather read in a browser, or who want to share it, can open the issue link. It is the same content that went out by email.
Who can see appointment information? · SchoolConferenceGo
School admins see everything. Teachers only see their own appointments. Parents only see their own bookings. We use role-based access control throughout.
Who do ticket emails come from? · EventTicketGo
From your venue’s name (via EventTicketGo), and when attendees reply, the reply goes to your contact address, not our support queue. The event is the star; we’re the ticketing in the footer.
Who owns our attendees' information? · EventTicketGo
You do. We email your attendees only for their tickets, receipts, transfers, and operational notices you send. We don’t run a marketplace, and we don’t sell or rent your list. Event pages don’t carry advertising pixels; we use first-party analytics for product health (funnels and ops), plus Stripe and email delivery to actually take payment and send tickets.
Whose bank account does ticket money land in? · EventTicketGo
Yours. You complete a short Stripe Connect onboarding from the Payouts page (a few minutes if you already know your bank details). Ticket revenue goes to that connected Stripe account, then to the bank you link there. We never hold ticket money in our own company account.
Why does a new organization need to be approved before going live? · FundDriveGo
Every organization is verified through Stripe (to confirm a real bank account and identity) and reviewed by FundDriveGo for compliance with our acceptable-use policy before their first campaign can publish. Most organizations clear both checks within a few business days.
Still need help?
Tell us what you are trying to do and we will get back to you by email, usually within one business day, sooner during a live event.
For tickets and events, the Ask assistant answers most questions in seconds.
