Quick answers

What if our lobby Wi-Fi is bad? 路 EventTicketGo

The scanner checks each ticket over the phone's internet connection, so cell data works when the lobby Wi-Fi does not. Tell volunteers to turn Wi-Fi off if the lobby network is slow.

If the phone loses its connection, the scanner shows Offline. Scans will not check until the Wi-Fi is back. There is no offline mode yet, so scans wait until the phone is back online.

For a known dead zone, test the door link in that spot before the show, and keep a printed list from Download attendees (CSV) as a backup.

What if someone can't find their ticket or their phone died? 路 EventTicketGo

Lost the email? Go to Find my tickets, type the email used to buy, and press Resend my tickets. Tickets for every upcoming event go back to that address. Check the spam folder too. This also works for someone who was sent a ticket.

Phone died? Borrow any phone, sign in to that email, and open the ticket from there. Or use Find my tickets on the borrowed phone.

For door staff

An organizer can open the event under Tickets and look at Attendees to confirm the person's name, seat, and whether their ticket was already scanned. Keep a printed list from Download attendees (CSV) at the door for these moments.

If a ticket will not scan, the scanner can type the short code printed under the QR, like ABCD-2345, in Enter a code by hand.

What is a tournament, and how is it different from a ticketed event? 路 SignUpGo

A tournament is for the teams that play. Captains register teams, you generate a bracket, round robin, or pools, and you enter scores as winners advance. Find it under Signups, then Tournaments. A ticketed event is for the people who watch. It sells seats to a play, concert, or game in EventTicketGo, under Tickets. Tournaments do not sell spectator tickets, so use both if you need both.

What is AdGo? 路 AdGo

AdGo is Ads in the left menu. It runs one ad campaign on Meta for one thing you want to promote. That can be one of your events with a public page (a show with tickets, a signup sheet, a fundraiser, or a conference night) or any link, like a website or a product page.

You answer a few questions, read a short plan in plain English, and approve it. Nothing spends until you approve and connect Meta.

It never spends more than the cap you set. A guard checks spend every 30 minutes and slows or pauses the campaign before it can go over. Ad spend is charged to your own Meta account. Your card stays with Meta, and SizzleGo never holds it.

Every Monday you get an email with results and money spent. You can also turn on a simple signup page for the ad to point to.

AdGo comes with the Community, School and District plans. On Free, you can pick it as your one extra product. See plans, credits and billing.

What is GazetteGo? 路 GazetteGo

GazetteGo is the Newsletter tool in the left menu. It reads what your organization has live in SizzleGo, such as signup sheets, ticketed shows, fund drives and calendar events, and turns what is coming up into one newsletter. There is nothing to write. You can add one short line at the top, and change anything in Newsletters, the one place every newsletter is written.

Every newsletter also gets its own web page that families can share. You can send each issue yourself, or have it go out every week on its own.

GazetteGo is free on every plan, including Free, and sending a newsletter does not use credits.

If your town runs the GazetteGo neighborhood app, the Newsletter page also holds the town tools: polls, the Town today panel, local sports, photo review and moderation.

What is HomeroomGo? 路 HomeroomGo

HomeroomGo is class attendance and report cards for small schools without an SIS. It holds your student roster, classes, the gradebook, class attendance, and report cards. In the app it shows in the rail as Classes.

Teachers see only the classes they teach. Families sign in to a family page to see their own child's grades, missing work, today's attendance, and issued report cards.

HomeroomGo is included in the School plan ($1,999 a year per site) and the District plan (from $1,399 a year per site). It is not part of Free or Community. See pricing. Our privacy page lists exactly what it stores and who can see it.

What is MessageGo? 路 MessageGo

MessageGo is how your organization talks to families. You make a group, add its parents, and send one message by email, text, or both. You can add a button or a quick question, see who answered, and nudge the families still waiting. Owners and admins can also send an emergency alert to every family at once.

Parents never make an account or a password. They open their MessageGo inbox from a link, and every message from every school and team that uses SizzleGo lands there, sorted by kid. Messages are translated into each family's language.

Go to Messages in the left rail to start. MessageGo is part of the Community, School, and District plans, and on Free it can be the one extra product you pick. Emails cost 1 credit and texts cost 3 credits per 160 characters. See pricing.

What is outcome pricing? 路 AdGo

Every campaign starts on flat pricing, which means AdGo is part of your plan. Outcome pricing is a choice you make per campaign, and only on a campaign that sells tickets to a show.

It costs $250 a month, plus $3 for each ticket bought within 7 days of an ad click, capped at $750 a month. The Outcome pricing section on the campaign page shows the exact terms before you switch.

It needs the landing page on, because that is how a ticket gets traced to an ad. A ticket counts when its buyer signed up on the landing page after clicking an ad. Until the page is on, the button says Turn on the landing page first.

To switch, click Switch to outcome pricing and confirm. The page then shows Attributed tickets, Billable, and the fee so far, marked preliminary until the period settles. To go back, click Switch back to flat pricing.

No card is charged automatically. A person at SizzleGo reviews every outcome bill before it goes out. Ad spend on Meta is separate and always billed by Meta.

Outcome pricing for signups, gifts, or links is not offered today.

What is the daily advisor? 路 AdGo

Once a day, an automatic advisor reads each running campaign and decides what, if anything, to change. Its most common decision is to do nothing. It can only slow spending, never raise it, and every decision is checked against the real numbers before it acts.

What it can do:

  • Hold: change nothing and wait for more results.
  • Reduce: turn the daily budget down, by half at most in one go.
  • Ask for new ad copy: a note on the campaign page says how many new ads it wants and why.
  • Flag it for you: you get an email that says Your ads need a decision.

On the campaign page, the Daily advisor section shows its latest decisions, why it made each one, and whether it was done or held back. Held back means the suggestion did not match the real numbers, so nothing changed. It also counts the rules and patterns it has learned. The section shows once the advisor has run.

What is the school page? 路 Account & billing

The school page is one link with what your school or PTA has going on. Anyone can open it. There is no account and no app.

What you find there

  • Today鈥檚 lunch, with allergens when the school lists them, and a link to the week鈥檚 menu.
  • Coming up: the next events from the school鈥檚 public calendars.
  • Sign up to help, Tickets on sale, and Support our school.
  • Book a conference and Join the PTA, when they are open.
  • Contact us, with the school鈥檚 address, phone, website, and email.
  • Family sign-in: grades, fees, and forms, on a school鈥檚 page. Sign in there with your email.

Good to know

  • Your school shares the link, or puts it on its own website.
  • Only open, public items show. Nothing about any student is on the page.
  • Use the language menu at the top to read it in Spanish.
  • If it says Nothing posted yet, check back soon.
  • To pay fees or sign a permission slip, use your own family page from the school鈥檚 email, or tap Family sign-in: grades, fees, and forms.

What kinds of fund drives can I run? 路 FundDriveGo

When you create a drive, the Drive type menu has two choices:

  • Gifts, paid right away. A thermometer drive. Each student gets a page, and donors give as guests. Donors can also give every month.
  • Pledges per lap, book, or minute, charged after the count. Donors pledge an amount per unit up to a cap and save a card. After the event you enter each student's count and click Charge once.

Either kind can also have a store and a sponsors strip.

What languages does the conference booking page speak? 路 SchoolConferenceGo

Thirteen. English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Farsi, Turkish, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Korean, and Portuguese. Arabic, Farsi, and Hebrew read right to left.

A family taps Language at the top of the booking page and picks theirs. Their confirmation, reminder, waitlist emails, and the "How was your conference?" question then come in that language too. The sibling planner, the change or cancel page, and the teacher link speak all 13 as well.

A family who needs an interpreter at the meeting ticks I need an interpreter and types the language. The office and the teacher both see the request.
