Why did my message stop sending?

Messages use credits from your organization's one wallet. One credit is one cent. Email is 1 credit per family. A text is 3 credits for each 160 character part. The last screen before you send shows the cost.

If the wallet runs out partway, the send stops. You will see "The send stopped early" with how many families got it. The delivery report marks the rest Not sent: out of credits.

Fix it

  1. Go to Settings, then Credits, and click Add credits.
  2. Go back to Messages and send the same message again. Families who already got it will not get it twice.
  3. For a newsletter, open it and click Resume sending.

Good to know

  • Turn on Refill automatically on the Credits page so this does not happen on a big night. It needs a card on file.
  • An emergency alert is never stopped by a low balance.
  • If a family was skipped for another reason, like no phone or opted out, adding credits will not change that. See See who got your message.
