Guides
Add a calendar to your phone, or put it on your website
Subscribe once in Apple, Google, or Outlook and the calendar stays current. Staff can paste an embed code on the school website.
Book rooms with a resource calendar and stop double booking
Mark a calendar as a resource, like the Gym, and any new or moved event that clashes with one already booked is refused.
Calendar reports and the weekly digest
See followers, changes, and alert delivery for every calendar. Followers also get a free week ahead email each Sunday.
Create and schedule events
Add one-time, all-day, or repeating events, or import a spreadsheet. A published calendar updates every follower's phone.
Follow a calendar and get change alerts
Follow a school calendar with your email. When an event moves or is cancelled, you get an alert right away. No account needed.
Post the school lunch menu
Import a month of menus from a CSV, type a day by hand, add a Pay for lunch link, and families see this week's lunch.
Reschedule, cancel, or duplicate an event
Move or cancel one date or a whole series with a reason. Followers get an alert right away, and every change is logged.
See the lunch menu and follow the school calendar
Check this week's lunch, pay for lunch on the district site, add the menu to your phone, and get a lunch note each morning.
Quick answers
Can I review events before they go public? 路 CalendarGo
Yes. On one calendar, open Settings and set Contributor changes to Review before public, then click Save settings. Use the school default follows the school wide setting, and Publish instantly skips review. To set it for every calendar, use the Settings section at the bottom of the main Calendar page, pick Review before public, and click Save default. New events and changes from a Publisher then wait as pending review. They show under Needs you, where you click Approve or Reject. Nothing shows on the public calendar until you approve it. Editors, calendar owners, and admins always publish directly.
How do I share calendar access with staff? 路 CalendarGo
Open the calendar and scroll to Who can edit. Pick a level for each team member and click Save: No access, Viewer, Editor, Publisher, or Calendar owner. Editors publish changes directly. Publishers go through review when the calendar requires it. Owners and admins always have full access. To add someone new, go to Team, enter their email, and click Send invite. On the Team page you can also give Calendar access to all calendars or to just one.
