Who we are

What we collect
- Organizers sign in with an email and a name through Clerk. Billing runs through Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
- Buyers, volunteers, donors, and parents do not make accounts. When you sign up, book, buy, or give, the organizer's SizzleGo record keeps your name, email, and, if you give it, your phone number, so they can confirm and remind you.
- Schools using SchoolConferenceGo or FrontOfficeGo keep student first names, last names, grades, and classrooms on behalf of the school. That data belongs to the school. Students never get accounts and are never contacted. Schools on the School plan can ask us for a signed data privacy agreement.
- Server logs hold IP addresses and browser details for about 30 days to keep the site safe.
How it is used
- To run the thing you signed up for: confirmations, reminders, tickets, receipts.
- Text messages go only to people who ticked the box asking for them. Reply STOP to any text and it stops.
- Newsletters and appeals go only to people who agreed to hear from that organizer. Every one carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
- We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. AdGo campaigns use only what an organizer types into the plan, never contact lists.
Who else touches it
Clerk for sign in, Stripe for money, Resend for email, Twilio and Mobile Text Alerts for texts, Cloudflare for files, RavenDB Cloud for the database, Render for hosting, Sentry for errors, and Anthropic for the AdGo planner. Each one holds only what its job needs.
How long we keep it
Organizer records last while the account is open and 90 days after it closes. Signups, bookings, and orders stay with the organizer's records so they can answer questions later. Message logs expire after one year.
Your choices
- Ask any organizer to remove you, or email hello@sizzlego.com and we will do it within 30 days.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you. We answer within 30 days.
- Parents can ask a school to correct or delete a student record. We help the school do it.
Children
SizzleGo is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and student records are entered by schools, not by students.
Cookies
One cookie keeps organizers signed in. One remembers which organization is open. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics scripts that follow you across sites.
Changes
When this page changes we update the date at the top. Big changes get an email to organizers.
