Message the families in your class

If you teach a class in SizzleGo, you can message its families from the Messages page. The list comes from the class roster and each student's guardians, so you never build it by hand.

Before you start

You need the Teacher role (a Classes grant in Team), and you must be the teacher on the class. The office adds guardians to each student.

Steps

1. Go to Messages.
2. Under My classes, pick the card that says My class: and your class name.
3. Pick the channels, write the message, and send, the same as any message.

Good to know

• Each family gets it once, even with two kids in the class.
• Guardians with a custody or court restriction are never included. Archived classes do not show.
• If you see "No families are linked to that class yet," ask the office to add guardians.
• You see the delivery report, answers, and nudges for your class sends. Admins can see them too.
• Email is 1 credit per family and texts are 3 credits per part, from your school's wallet.
