What is the daily advisor?

Once a day, an automatic advisor reads each running campaign and decides what, if anything, to change. Its most common decision is to do nothing. It can only slow spending, never raise it, and every decision is checked against the real numbers before it acts.

What it can do:

  • Hold: change nothing and wait for more results.
  • Reduce: turn the daily budget down, by half at most in one go.
  • Ask for new ad copy: a note on the campaign page says how many new ads it wants and why.
  • Flag it for you: you get an email that says Your ads need a decision.

On the campaign page, the Daily advisor section shows its latest decisions, why it made each one, and whether it was done or held back. Held back means the suggestion did not match the real numbers, so nothing changed. It also counts the rules and patterns it has learned. The section shows once the advisor has run.
