Log nurse visits
The nurse visit log is a simple daily record of students who came to the health office. The nurse and the office use it. Teachers never see it.
Before you start
You need to be an owner or admin, or a team member set up as Principal, Office staff, or Nurse.
Steps
- Go to Front office, then Nurse visits.
- Type a name in Find a student, click Find, then click the student. An allergy badge shows if one is on file.
- Check Time in. Type the Reason, like "Headache".
- Under What was done, write what happened, like "Rested 20 minutes, water, back to class".
- Tick Sent home and A parent was told, by phone or in person if they apply.
- Click Save visit. It shows on today's list.
Good to know
- Ticking A parent was told, by phone or in person only records that you told them. It does not send a message. Call or text the family yourself.
- Use the Health notes link on the visit form to check the student's allergies and medications.
- To see another day, pick a Day and click Show. Click Download CSV to download it. You can only add visits for today.
- The reason and what was done are encrypted when stored. Every view, save, and export is logged.
- Need a nurse on your team? Invite them from Team with the Nurse preset. They see health notes and this log, not contacts, custody, or sign out.
