My campaign says it's not ready to publish — what's missing?

Open the campaign and check the Coach panel at the top — it lists exactly what's still needed (a cover photo, a specific goal amount, an end date, and so on) before the Publish button will work. Publishing also separately requires your organization's Stripe account to be verified and compliance-approved, which show on this Payouts and Stripe Connect pages.
