Quick answers
What does SignUpGo cost? 路 SignUpGo
SignUpGo is free for everyone. No card, no trial, no time limit. So are CalendarGo and GazetteGo, and the free plan adds one more product of your choice.
Free carries up to 2 organizers, 3 active signups at a time, 200 households, and 400 message credits a month. That is enough to email every household on the plan twice over, so you can actually send.
You only pay when you collect money. Paid slots carry one all in payment fee of 5.9% + 60c on Free, card processing included, shown before you publish. A sheet that charges nobody costs nothing.
Outgrown it? Community is $399 a year, or $39 a month, for all 8 products with unlimited organizers, signups, and households, 1,500 credits a month, and a lower fee of 4.9% + 60c. See the pricing page.
What fees does a donor pay? 路 FundDriveGo
There is one payment fee, and card processing is included in it. You see it before you pay. Nothing is added later.
- If you cover it, the fee is added to your total, and the school or group gets your whole gift.
- If you do not, you pay just your gift, and the fee comes out of it.
The rate depends on the group's plan: 5.9% + 60c on Free, 4.9% + 60c on Community, 4.4% + 50c on School, and 3.9% + 40c on District.
Example on Community: for a $50 gift the fee is $3.05. Cover it and you pay $53.05 and they get $50. Leave it off and you pay $50 and they get $46.95.
What happened to SportsHubGo? 路 SignUpGo
SportsHubGo became Teams. Each team season is now a section on your school page, next to your calendar, signups and fund drives, so families find everything in one place.
- Build and edit teams under Signups, then Teams.
- Every team you made before is still there, with the same schedule and links.
- Old team links open the team's section on your school page.
What happens after I publish a signup? 路 SignUpGo
The signup goes live at once. Right after you publish, an It is live. Now share it. panel gives you the link, Copy link, Text it, Email it, and Open the page so you can see what families see. The Open card keeps a QR code for flyers, and later it holds the link too. Paste the link in an email or group text, or send it in a campaign. Click Close signups any time to stop new signups. People already signed up keep their spots and still get their reminder.
What happens if a drive does not reach its goal? 路 FundDriveGo
Every gift still counts and goes to the school or group. A drive goal is a target to rally around, not all or nothing. Nobody is refunded because the goal was missed.
When the organizer ends the drive, the page stops taking gifts and thanks everyone who gave. Monthly gifts to that drive stop too, and those donors get an email.
What happens if I publish a paid signup before connecting Stripe? 路 SignUpGo
You cannot publish it yet. A signup with paid spots stays a draft until Stripe is connected. The signup page says This sheet has paid spots. Connect Stripe so families can pay you, then publish.
- Click Connect Stripe on the signup page. It takes you to Settings, then Billing.
- Finish Stripe's form.
- Open the signup again and click Publish.
Signups with only free spots publish as usual. See How do I set up Stripe payments?
What happens if two parents pay the same fee? 路 FrontOfficeGo
It refunds itself. Sometimes two guardians pay the same fee at almost the same moment, or a parent pays by card just as you mark the fee paid in cash. The first payment counts. The second card payment goes back to that card in full, card processing included.
The parent whose payment went back gets an email titled Refunded: that fee was already paid. It tells them nothing else is needed. You do not need to press anything.
Good to know
- The fee page shows the fee paid once, by the first payment.
- In Money, the second payment shows as refunded, so your totals stay right.
- To refund the first payment too, use Refund on the fee page. See Refund a fee or a permission slip fee paid by card.
What happens if we have to cancel an event? 路 EventTicketGo
Open the event under Tickets and scroll to Cancel the show. Type one line about what happened, tick I understand every order is refunded, and press Cancel the show and refund everyone. Only owners and admins can do this.
Every buyer is refunded in full, ticket fee included, and emailed. The public page then says the event was cancelled. This cannot be undone. If a refund does not go through, the page lists who, and Retry refunds tries again.
Moving the date instead
To reschedule, change Starts under Event details and press Save details. Every buyer gets an email with the new date. Their tickets keep working. Buyers who cannot make it can refund themselves inside your refund window.
What happens to our data if we cancel? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
Cancelling a paid plan moves you to Free and deletes nothing. Your nights and bookings stay where they are.
To take a copy, go to Settings, then Export everything, and download the Conference reports CSV. It is the same file as Download roster (CSV) on Reports.
When you want your data gone, email hello@SizzleGo.com from an owner account and we delete it. The privacy page has the details, and a signed data privacy agreement on the School plan can set the exact terms.
What happens to your fee when we refund someone? 路 EventTicketGo
When an order is refunded, our payment fee is refunded too, card processing included. The buyer gets back everything they paid, and a refunded order costs you nothing in fees.
Refunds are for the whole order. You can refund any order from the Orders table on the event page with the Refund button. Buyers can refund themselves until the number of days you set in Refunds until, days before. After that, they can send a request, which shows up under Refund requests for you to Approve and refund or Deny.
What if a teacher is absent on conference day? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
Use Teacher is out on the night page. You do not need to reach the teacher.
Mark the teacher out
- Go to Conferences and click the night.
- Under Teachers, click Edit or mark out under the teacher's name.
- In Teacher is out, tick the day or days they are out. A one day night has nothing to tick.
- Type the Reason families read, like "Ms. Chen is out sick today."
- Click Mark out and confirm.
What happens
- Every time of theirs still ahead on those days closes. Families cannot book them, and nobody on the waitlist is told a time opened.
- Each family booked with them on those days is cancelled and emailed in their language, with your reason and a link to pick another time or another teacher. Families who said yes to texts also get a text.
- If booking is closed, the email asks the family to contact the school instead of sending a link.
- A meeting that has already started is left alone.
- The teacher's row shows Out with the days and your reason. Their own link shows the closed times. Each step is kept in the audit log.
If the teacher can come after all
- Click Teacher is back under their name. The times you closed open again, including a team that closed because of them. Times the teacher blocked on their own stay blocked.
- Families who were cancelled are not rebooked or told. Call them, or book them again with Book for a family.
Good to know
- Teams the teacher sits on: if someone else on the team can come, the team keeps its times and families keep their bookings. The team's row shows who is missing, so use Message families to tell them. If nobody else on the team can come, the team's times close and its families are told, the same as the teacher's own.
- A cancelled family who was also on that teacher's waitlist is taken off it, so they are never offered a time with a teacher who is out.
- If a substitute will meet families, add them with Add teachers. Bookings cannot be moved from one teacher to another, so families book the substitute themselves from the link in their email.
- To tell one teacher's families something else, like running late or a room change, use Message families and pick that teacher.
What if our event doesn't need assigned seats? 路 EventTicketGo
Use general admission. On Create an event, under How tickets work, pick General admission, buyers pick how many.
- Fill in Capacity, general admission, how many people the room holds.
- Add up to four ticket types, like Adult and Student, each with a Price, dollars and an optional Limit.
- Press Create event.
Buyers pick how many of each type. They still get a QR code per ticket, and the door scans them the same way. You can change prices, limits, and capacity later on the event page.
Still need help?
Tell us what you are trying to do and we will get back to you by email, usually within one business day, sooner during a live event.
For tickets and events, the Ask assistant answers most questions in seconds.
