Guides
Generate pools, schedules, and brackets
Generate the bracket, round robin, or pools from confirmed teams, assign courts and times, enter scores, and correct a result.
Getting started with SchoolConferenceGo
Set your time zone, create a conference night, send teachers their links, publish, and share the booking page with families.
Give discounts with promo codes, and free seats with comps
Add a percent or dollars off code for members or early birds. Issue comp tickets to give seats away with no charge and no fee.
Give every month, and how to stop it
Set up a monthly gift to a school fund drive with no account. Every receipt has a link to stop it any time.
Hand off to the next PTA president
Five steps for the night the board turns over: export, transfer ownership, update payouts, change the reply to email, and remove outgoing members.
Host a landing page and collect signups
Let AdGo host a simple signup page for your ad. Signups are counted, added to your contacts, and can be downloaded.
How do drive emails and reminders work?
You can email your contacts about a live drive once a day. Parents of students who are behind also get an automatic nudge, at most once a week.
How teachers see their schedule
Each teacher gets a private link, no password. It shows who is booked, notes, interpreter requests, and lets them block times.
How the waitlist works
When a teacher is full, families can join a waitlist. When a time opens, the first family waiting is emailed and the first to book gets it.
How to book a conference
Open your school's link, pick your child's teacher and a time, fill in your details, and tap Book Slot. No account needed.
How to report an absence or late arrival
Tap the link the school emailed you, pick your child and a reason, and the office knows. No app, no password.
I can't sign in
Only school staff sign in here. Teachers and families use private links, and parents can also sign in to their family home at SizzleGo.com/home.
Quick answers
Plans, credits, and billing 路 Account & billing
Free, forever. CalendarGo, GazetteGo, and SignUpGo are free for everyone, with no card and no trial, plus one more product you pick. It carries up to 2 organizers, 3 active things per product, 200 households, and 400 message credits a month.
Community, $399 a year or $39 a month. All 8 products a parent group runs, one login, one shared roster, unlimited organizers, signups, and households, and 1,500 credits a month.
School, $1,999 a year per site. All 11 products, adding the ones the front office, the athletic department, and the registrar run. A signed privacy agreement, SSO and rostering, a named support contact, and 2,500 credits a month. Pay by card, or by invoice with a purchase order.
District, from $1,399 a year per site. Everything in School for every site, on one contract and one privacy agreement, with a multi site dashboard. District is by invoice only.
Credits pay for messages, and they work across every product. One credit is one cent. An email is 1 credit and a text is 3 credits per 160 characters. Included credits refresh every month. Packs of 1,000, 5,000, or 15,000 credits cost $10, $50, or $150, and credits you buy never expire.
The payment fee applies only when you collect money, and card processing is included in it: 5.9% + 60c on Free, 4.9% + 60c on Community, 4.4% + 50c on School, 3.9% + 40c on District. Anything free to your families costs nothing.
Cancel any time: go to Settings, then Billing, then Manage billing. You move to Free at the end of the period you paid for, and nothing is deleted. Nonprofit or Title I? Email us and we will sort it out case by case.
See the pricing page for the full table.
We've never run a ticketed event before. Is that a problem? 路 EventTicketGo
Not a problem. EventTicketGo is built for school plays, concerts, and nonprofit nights, not arenas.
- Go to Tickets and press Create an event. Add a title, date, venue, and price.
- Press Publish and share the link or the Download QR poster.
- On show night, press Make a door link and text it to each volunteer. Their phone becomes the scanner. That is the whole training.
No seat map yet? Pick general admission and sell by count. Want a second set of eyes before your first show? Write to hello@sizzlego.com.
What about chargebacks? 路 EventTicketGo
A chargeback is when a buyer asks their bank to reverse a card payment. When that happens on a ticket order, Stripe tells the SizzleGo team, and we respond to the bank through Stripe before the deadline.
We may email you for proof, such as the order and the check in time. You can find both on the event page: the Orders table and Download attendees (CSV), which includes when each ticket was scanned.
Good to know
- Tickets on a disputed order are not switched off by the app. If you want to stop a ticket, refund or cancel the order from the Orders table.
- The easiest way to avoid chargebacks is a clear refund window. Buyers inside it can refund themselves.
What about credit card processing? 路 EventTicketGo
Card processing is included in the one payment fee. There is no second Stripe line. The rate depends on your plan: 5.9% + 60 cents on Free, 4.9% + 60 cents on Community, 4.4% + 50 cents on School, and 3.9% + 40 cents on District. It is charged once on the whole order, not per ticket.
Buyers see the fee before they pay when you pick Buyer, shown before paying. If you pick We do, out of the ticket price, it comes out of your share. Your Earnings page shows the fees on every show.
What data do you collect about students? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
Very little. A conference booking holds the student's name as the parent types it, so the teacher knows who the meeting is about. Everything else is about the parent: name, email, phone if given, whether they said yes to texts, their language, an interpreter request, any comment they typed, and when they checked in.
If the family answers the morning after question, their 1 to 5 rating and comment are kept too.
SchoolConferenceGo does not collect grades, health information, or birthdays. Other SizzleGo products a school may use hold more, and the privacy page lists what each one keeps. A school can ask us to delete its data at any time.
What do Excused, Missing, Incomplete, and Late mean in the gradebook? 路 HomeroomGo
When you enter grades, each student has a code menu next to the points box. The grades table shows the code in the cell.
| Code | Shows as | What it does to the average |
|---|---|---|
| Excused | EX | Not counted at all. |
| Missing | M, in bold | Counts as zero. Families see the assignment listed as missing on their family page. |
| Incomplete | INC | Not counted yet. Replace it with a score later. |
| Late | L after the score | Counts the score you type. It is only a flag. |
Excused, Missing, and Incomplete need no score. Late needs one, or nothing saves. To swap a code for a score, set the code to No code and type the score. To remove a grade, tick Clear. Then click Save grades. Families see the change on their family page as soon as you save.
What do staff see when they scan a ticket? 路 EventTicketGo
The scanner shows one big result you can read at arm's length:
- Welcome, Steve with the seat, like "Row F Seat 12". If the order has extras, it adds "Also: 2 Program" so you can hand them over.
- Already in: Steve with the seat and the time it was first scanned. This stops a shared screenshot from getting two people in.
- Wrong event when the ticket is for a different show.
- Ticket not valid when it was refunded or cancelled.
- Not a ticket when the code is not one of yours.
Below the camera is Enter a code by hand with a Check ticket button. Type the short code printed under the QR, like ABCD-2345. Capitals, spaces, and the dash do not matter. Use it when a ticket will not scan or the phone has no camera. You can also turn the buyer's screen brightness up and try again, or ask the organizer to find the name in Attendees on the event page.
What do the weekly reports tell me? 路 AdGo
Every Monday, AdGo emails the person who approved the campaign. The report says how many results came in this week and since the campaign began, how much was spent against the cap, and repeats the plan. Every number is checked before the email goes out.
A result matches the campaign's goal: tickets, signups, bookings, gifts, or leads. The count is every one since the campaign started, not only ones from ads.
For a visits goal, or sales on a link to another website, SizzleGo cannot count results on its own yet. The campaign page shows Soon there.
Want it now? On a running or paused campaign, click Email me this week's report now. Past reports are listed under Weekly reports.
Each report email uses 1 credit.
What do we need to start selling? 路 EventTicketGo
Two things, sometimes one:
- An event. Go to Tickets and press Create an event. Add a title, start time, venue, and price. Pick general admission, or a seat map if you have one.
- Stripe, for paid tickets. Go to Settings, then Billing, and press Connect Stripe under Payouts. It takes about five minutes. The Publish button stays off on a paid event until this is done.
Then press Publish and share the link. Free events can publish without Stripe.
Good to know
- On the Free plan you can have 3 events on sale at once. Community and up have no cap.
- Need reserved seats but no map yet? See how a room becomes a seat map.
What does "Ready, waiting on Meta" mean? 路 AdGo
It means your plan is approved and marked ready, but SizzleGo's connection to Meta is still waiting on Meta's approval. Nothing is spending. The Ads page shows a note while Meta is not connected yet, and says we will email you when campaigns can start.
While we wait, the button on an approved campaign says Mark ready. Once the connection is live, it says Connect Meta. Meta asks you to sign in and grant ad access, then the campaign shows Running. Your card stays on your Meta account.
If you see That Meta sign-in link expired or Meta did not grant access, click Connect Meta again. Only someone who can publish Ads, like an owner, an admin, or a Manager on Ads, can connect Meta.
What does EventTicketGo cost? 路 EventTicketGo
One all in payment fee on each order, card processing included. The rate depends on your plan: 5.9% + 60 cents on Free, 4.9% + 60 cents on Community, 4.4% + 50 cents on School, and 3.9% + 40 cents on District.
It is charged once on the whole order, tickets and extras together, not per ticket. Example: on Community, a $20 order of two $10 tickets has a $1.58 fee.
- No setup fee and no monthly minimum for tickets.
- Free events and comp tickets cost nothing.
- On the Free plan, EventTicketGo can be the one extra product you pick. Community ($399 a year or $39 a month) includes it with no event cap.
See pricing for the plans.
What does SchoolConferenceGo cost? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
There are no per teacher or per student fees, on any plan.
On the Free plan you can pick SchoolConferenceGo as your one extra product and run real conference nights: up to 2 organizers, 3 nights open for booking at a time, 200 households, and 400 message credits a month. CalendarGo, GazetteGo, and SignUpGo come free alongside it.
Community is $399 a year, or $39 a month, for all 8 Community products, with unlimited conference nights, organizers, and households, and 1,500 credits a month.
School is $1,999 a year per site, with all 11 products, a signed privacy agreement, SSO and rostering, a named support contact, and 2,500 credits a month. It can be paid by invoice. District starts at $1,399 a year per site.
Conference booking collects no money, so the payment fee never applies. Credits pay for emails and texts. See the pricing page.
