What happens if two parents pay the same fee?

It refunds itself. Sometimes two guardians pay the same fee at almost the same moment, or a parent pays by card just as you mark the fee paid in cash. The first payment counts. The second card payment goes back to that card in full, card processing included.

The parent whose payment went back gets an email titled Refunded: that fee was already paid. It tells them nothing else is needed. You do not need to press anything.

Good to know

• The fee page shows the fee paid once, by the first payment.
• In Money, the second payment shows as refunded, so your totals stay right.
