How the waitlist works

When every future time with a teacher is taken, the booking page shows Join Waitlist for that teacher instead of times. Nothing to switch on.

What families do

1. They click Join Waitlist and enter the student name, their name, email, and phone if you require one.
2. They get an email saying they are on the waitlist for that teacher.
3. When a booking with that teacher is cancelled or moved, the first family waiting gets an email, and a text if they said yes to texts, saying a time opened up.
4. They open the link and book like anyone else. The first family to book the open time gets it.

What you see

• The Booked card on the night page shows how many are waiting.
• A Waitlist table lists Teacher, Family, Student, and Status. Status reads Waiting, or Told a spot opened with the time.

Good to know

• Families are not booked into the open time automatically. One family is told per opening, in the order they joined.
• A teacher with a long waitlist can open more time by tapping Unblock on blocked times in their link. You can also book a waiting family yourself with Book for a family.
