Guides
Create and schedule events
Add one-time, all-day, or repeating events, or import a spreadsheet. A published calendar updates every follower's phone.
Create your organization and take your first steps
Make your school, PTA, church, league, or nonprofit on SizzleGo, pick an extra free product, and learn what the Home screen shows.
Delete, restore, or reassign a class, or drop a student
Hand a class to a new teacher, delete a class made by mistake and restore it later, or take one student out of one class.
Download state reporting exports
Download enrollment, daily attendance, and final grades as spreadsheets for state and district reporting.
Download your donor list, roster, or orders
Each drive has CSV downloads for donations, the roster, and store orders. The Money page has one CSV across every tool.
Enrichment and activity calendars
The Enrichment Calendar template opens CalendarGo. Post every session date on one calendar that families can follow and subscribe to.
Export your data
Download your people, team, money, audit trail, and each signup, show, drive, and calendar as CSV files from one page.
Find a meeting time (Huddle Up)
SignUpGo has no voting poll. To find a time, send a survey with a checkbox question that lists the times, or offer time slots.
Find families who need a call
The Connection page lists families who have left something undone for more than 7 days, longest wait first, with a phone number to call.
Find, transfer, or refund my ticket
Lost your tickets? Resend them from Find my tickets. From your ticket page you can also send a ticket to someone or refund your order.
Follow a calendar and get change alerts
Follow a school calendar with your email. When an event moves or is cancelled, you get an alert right away. No account needed.
Fundraiser template
The Fundraiser template opens FundDriveGo, the fund drive tool, where donors give by card with no account.
Quick answers
How does the spending cap protect me? 路 AdGo
The cap is a wall, not a target. A 5 percent safety margin (at least $15) comes off the top before the plan is written, and then a guard checks spend every 30 minutes:
- 80 percent of the cap: you get an email. Nothing changes.
- 90 percent: the daily budget is turned down so the rest lands under the cap. You get an email.
- 95 percent: the campaign pauses. You get an email.
- Spending more than twice as fast as planned: the campaign pauses, even under the cap.
The emails go to the person who approved the campaign. The campaign page shows how much is spent against the cap with a progress bar, and says when the guard turned the daily budget down.
A daily advisor also reads the campaign once a day. It can only slow spending, never raise it.
How fast does money reach our bank account? 路 FundDriveGo
Every gift goes straight into your organization's own Stripe account as it comes in. SizzleGo does not hold it.
SizzleGo sends a payout from that account to your bank once a day. It covers everything that has cleared in Stripe: gifts, store orders, monthly gifts, pledges, and money from your other tools. Stripe usually clears a card payment about two business days after it is made, and the bank deposit then takes a day or two. Ticket money is the one exception: it waits until about a week after each show ends, so a cancelled show can still be refunded. Amounts under $1 wait for the next day.
To check, go to Money. To your bank shows what has already landed. Next payout shows a payout on its way, or says it is waiting for the next daily payout. If a payout looks late, write to hello@sizzlego.com. Nothing can be paid out until Stripe has turned payouts on for your account.
How is my child's privacy protected on a fund drive? 路 FundDriveGo
A student's fund drive page is kept small on purpose. It shows:
- A first name and last initial only. A full last name is never shown.
- A team or class, if the organizer or student added one.
- A short line your child wrote when joining, if they added one.
- How much has been raised and the names of supporters who chose to show their name.
There is no place for a student photo. The only picture is the drive's cover picture, chosen by the organizer.
If you gave a parent email when joining, it is never shown on the page. It is only used for updates about the drive. To have your child's page taken down, ask the organizer.
How is the payment fee calculated? 路 SignUpGo
Each paid order carries one fee, with card processing included: 5.9% + 60 cents on Free, 4.9% + 60 cents on Community, 4.4% + 50 cents on School, and 3.9% + 40 cents on District. Orders that collect nothing pay nothing. By default the fee is added to the family's total, and they see it before they pay. To cover it yourself, tick We absorb the fee on paid spots. The fee for your plan shows on the form wherever you set a price.
How long does it take to set up my first conference night? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
Usually a few minutes. Creating a night is one form: title, dates, times, meeting length, and a teacher list you can paste in one go. Then you send teachers their links and click Publish.
See Getting started for the full path.
Is FundDriveGo connected to SignUpGo or EventTicketGo? 路 FundDriveGo
Yes. FundDriveGo is the Fundraising tool inside SizzleGo, next to Signups, Tickets, and the rest. Your team uses one login for all of them.
- One contact list. Donors are added to your contacts under People, and the Tell your contacts card on a drive emails the same list your other tools use.
- One Stripe connection. Connect it once under Settings, then Billing, and gifts, tickets, and store sales all land in the same account.
- One Money page. Every gift, sale, and payout shows in Money, split by tool.
Donors never need an account in any of these tools.
Is it free to start a fund drive? 路 FundDriveGo
Yes. On the Free plan you get CalendarGo, GazetteGo, and SignUpGo, plus one more product of your choice. Pick FundDriveGo and you can run up to 3 live drives at a time with no yearly cost.
Every gift has one payment fee, card processing included. It is lower on paid plans:
- Free: 5.9% + 60c
- Community ($399 a year or $39 a month): 4.9% + 60c
- School ($1,999 a year per site): 4.4% + 50c
- District (from $1,399 a year per site): 3.9% + 40c
Donors see the fee before they pay and can choose to cover it. Community and up have no limit on live drives. See pricing for the full plan list.
Is parent and student data secure? 路 SchoolConferenceGo
- Every page and request goes over HTTPS.
- The private links for families and teachers are stored as one way hashes. A copy of the database is not enough to open anyone's link.
- Every record belongs to one school. Staff only see what their role allows.
- Teachers only see their own schedule, and their link stops working a week after the night.
- Data exports are recorded in an audit trail the school can read.
- We never sell data and never use student records for advertising.
More on the security page and the privacy page.
Is there a fee on free events? 路 EventTicketGo
No. An order that collects nothing pays nothing. Set the price to $0 and buyers get the same QR tickets, emails, and door scanning as a paid event. You do not need Stripe connected to publish a free event.
The fee applies only to money collected. If a free event also sells paid extras, like a program, the one payment fee for your plan applies to that order. A promo code that brings an order to $0 also means no fee.
To give seats away on a paid event, use Comp tickets on the event page. Comps carry no charge and no fee.
Is there a review before my drive can go live? 路 FundDriveGo
No separate SizzleGo review is needed. The only check is Stripe's. When you click Connect Stripe under Settings, then Billing, Stripe asks for your organization's details and a bank account. As soon as Stripe says your account can take payments, the Publish button on your drive works.
If Publish still does not work, see the readiness article. The usual causes are Stripe not finished, your plan's limit on live drives, or your role on the team.
My pledge card was declined. How do I pay? 路 FundDriveGo
When the drive charged your pledge, your card said no. Maybe it expired, or your bank wanted you to confirm. Nothing was charged.
- Open the email titled "Your pledge to" the school or group "did not go through."
- Click Pay your pledge.
- The page shows the amount per unit, how many were counted, and your total.
- Enter any card and click the Pay button.
The email comes in the language you used to pledge, English or Spanish. You get a receipt by email when it goes through. If the page says the pledge is not waiting for a payment, it is already paid or was cancelled. Questions go to the school or group running the drive. If you lost the email, ask them to send the pay link again.
Not seeing something on your family home? 路 Account & billing
Your family home shows what is under the email or mobile number you signed in with, plus the kids your school lists you as a guardian for. If something is missing, it is usually one of these.
It is under a different email
A ticket, signup, or gift belongs to the email typed when it was made. If you used another email, tap Sign out on this device and sign in with that one. The confirmation email for each item also still works on its own.
Someone else bought it
A ticket or signup made by your partner, a grandparent, or a friend shows on their family home, not yours. Ask them to forward the confirmation email. For a ticket, they can tap Send this ticket to someone else on their ticket page and send it to your email.
A school or a kid is missing
- The school may have a different email or phone for you. Ask the front office to check it.
- Grades, attendance, forms, and fees show only for kids the school lists you as a guardian for. If the school removed you as a guardian or limited your access, those items stop showing right away. Ask the school office if you think that is a mistake.
- If the school turned off your family page, that school's grades and fees are hidden. Other schools still show.
It is old
Past items stay under Earlier for 12 months.
A section says it could not load
The rest of the page is fine. Try again in a minute. If it keeps happening, ask us.
Still need help?
Tell us what you are trying to do and we will get back to you by email, usually within one business day, sooner during a live event.
For tickets and events, the Ask assistant answers most questions in seconds.
