Guides
Urgent vs. normal, the daily digest, and quiet hours
Normal messages wait out quiet hours and go into the parent digest. Urgent messages go to everyone right away, even overnight.
Use the district dashboard
See every school in your district on one screen, with live items, contacts, members, and money collected, and open any school.
Weight grades by category
Set up to four grading categories like Homework and Tests with weights, so the class average is a weighted average instead of total points.
What do I need before adding a student to a drive?
Get a parent's OK first. A student page only ever shows a first name and last initial, never a full last name, photo, or grade.
What do our door volunteers need? An app? Accounts?
Nothing to install and no accounts. Make a door link on the event page and text it to each volunteer. Their phone becomes a ticket scanner.
What is Chat?
Chat answers comments and messages on Instagram and Facebook Messenger for you, with flows you build or start from a template.
Where tournament entry fees go
Entry fees go to your Stripe account and pay out to your bank. See them with all your other money in Money.
Who can see what in HomeroomGo
Owners and admins see every class and office page. Teachers see only the classes they teach. Helpers need a Classes grant to see anything.
Who may pick up: the pickup list and do not release list
See who may take a student home, add people who must never be released the student, and record a custody restriction.
Why don't "Raised" and "To your bank" match?
"Raised" on a drive is every gift and store order so far. "To your bank" on the Money page is what has already been paid to your bank, after fees.
Workflows: quiet helpers that watch the office
Turn on tasks for an absence pattern, a new family that never opened its link, or a family text left unread.
Write ad copy from your plan
Turn your plan into ad headlines and text. Each ad is checked against ad policy and Meta's length limits before it shows.
Still need help?
Tell us what you are trying to do and we will get back to you by email, usually within one business day, sooner during a live event.
