Write ad copy from your plan
Once a campaign has a plan, AdGo can write ad headlines and text from it. Anyone who can edit Ads can do this.
Steps
- Go to Ads and click the campaign.
- Scroll to Ad copy.
- Click Write ad copy. A table fills in with the Angle, Headline, Primary text and Description for each ad.
- Want a fresh batch? Click Rewrite ad copy and confirm. It replaces what is there.
Good to know
- Each ad is checked before it lands in the table. Ads that promise results, push false urgency, claim a discount, a ranking or a number we cannot check, or shout in capitals are left out.
- Headlines stay under 40 characters, primary text under 125, and descriptions under 30. An ad that runs long is left out, never cut off.
- If it cannot write right now, a note says so. Try again in a minute.
- When you connect Meta, the copy in the table becomes your ads, up to four. With no copy, the plan's angles are used instead.
- Write the copy before you connect Meta. Swapping new copy into ads that are already running is not available today.
