Answer a parent's question

When a parent types a real question about one of your messages, it comes back to you as a thread. You answer from the Messages page.

Steps

1. Go to Messages.
2. Scroll to Questions. Each card shows the parent, the group, and the last few messages.
3. Type your answer in Reply.
4. Click Send reply.
5. When the matter is settled, click Resolve to clear the card. Use Mark read if you read it but will answer later.

Good to know

• The parent gets your answer by email, with a link to their inbox, and it shows in their inbox under their questions.
• If the parent wrote in another language, you read it in English. Your answer is translated for them.
• You see questions only for groups you can reach.
• A parent who replies to your email directly reaches the email address on your SizzleGo account, not this page. A typed text reply lands in Front office messages if your organization has FrontOfficeGo. Otherwise it is not shown, so ask families to reply by email. The Where replies go line under the composer says which applies to you.
