Stripe is connected but payouts are not on yet

Stripe checks two things about your account. First, can it take payments? Second, can it send money to your bank? Stripe sometimes turns on the first before the second while it finishes checking your details.

How to tell where you are

1. Go to Settings, then Billing, and look at the Payouts card.
2. If it says Stripe connected, your drive can publish and take gifts.
3. If it also says "Payouts turn on once Stripe finishes checking your details," money is being collected but not yet sent to your bank.
4. Click Update payout details to open Stripe and see what it still needs, like a bank account or an ID check.

• Nothing is lost while payouts are off. Gifts wait safely in your Stripe balance. See how fast money reaches your bank for when it is paid out.
• The Money page shows "Connect a bank account to receive payouts" until payouts are on.
