Understand the Money page

The Money page shows what your organization takes in from families across every tool. It is for the treasurer as much as the chair. What you pay SizzleGo is under Settings, then Billing.

Before you start

• Owners and admins always see Money. A helper needs the Money function on Team.

What it shows

• Collected: money taken in, after refunds.
• To your bank: what Stripe has paid out so far.
• Next payout: the next amount and when it should arrive, or that it is waiting for the next daily payout.
• SizzleGo fees: the payment fee on your sales.
• By tool: collected, refunded, fees, and number of sales for each tool.
• Recent activity: each sale and payout, with a status like Paid, Pending, Refunded, On the way, or Arrived.

Cash and checks

When the office marks a fee paid in cash or by check, or a sponsor pays by check, it shows here too, marked not paid out. That money is already with you, so it is never part of a payout.

Refunds and payouts

• You refund inside the tool where the sale happened, like a ticket order or a gift. Money then shows it as Refunded.
• Payouts go out every day once Stripe clears the money, usually two business days after a sale. Ticket money waits until about a week after the show ends, so a cancelled show can still be refunded.

Good to know

• Owners and admins can click Download CSV for every payment and payout.
• See Set up payouts? Stripe is not connected or not finished yet.
