Sports Tournaments Overview

SignUpGo Sports is a full tournament management system built on top of the signup platform. Create a single-day or multi-day tournament, collect team or player registrations, auto-generate pools and brackets, sell spectator entry tickets and merchandise, and handle check-in with QR codes - all tied to your existing Stripe account. Sports tournaments are available on the Sports plan.

  3. Choose per-team or per-player pricing (or free) and add optional merchandise items
  4. Add an event image and publish

Tips

  • Use the default rules as a starting point and tweak only what's different - saves 90% of the typing
  • Set up Stripe payouts before publishing so registration fees transfer automatically
  • Open registration 2-4 weeks early to give captains time to form teams
  • Add spectator entry tickets if you're renting a venue - it offsets the court/facility cost
  • Share the Gate Scanner QR code with volunteers on event day so they can check in attendees without your login
