Remind families who owe a fee

Adding a fee sends no email unless you tick Email the families now when you set it. Use a reminder to tell families what they owe and give them a link to pay.

Steps

1. Go to Front office, then Fees.
2. To remind about every open fee, tap Remind families who owe at the top of the page.
3. To remind about one fee, tap the fee name, then tap Remind families who owe there.
4. Confirm. A note tells you how many families were reminded.

What families get

An email that names the fee and the amount still open, with a link to their family page. It says they can pay by card there, or bring cash or a check to the office.

Good to know

• Each email uses 1 message credit. See Plans, credits, and billing.
• If credits run out, sending stops partway and the page tells you to check your credits.
• A family is reminded once per day at most, so pressing the button twice is safe.
• Only active guardians get reminders. A guardian the office removed or restricted never does.
• Families who have not allowed reminder emails, or whose email bounced, are skipped.
