The Chat inbox and your team

The Inbox shows every conversation. You can reply inside Meta's 24 hours, assign a conversation to a teammate, add labels, and close it. When you reply by hand, automation waits a day for that person so a flow does not talk over you.

Suggest a reply drafts an answer from the conversation. Check it, change anything, then send. Nothing is sent without you.

Volunteers who only answer messages

On the Team page, give someone the Chat inbox role. They can read and answer every conversation, assign, label and close. They cannot build flows, send broadcasts, change Chat settings or touch ad campaigns.
