Connect other apps: webhooks and the Chat API

In Chat settings, under Connect other apps. Only people who can publish Ads see this.

Webhooks

Add an https address and pick events: someone new, someone gives an email, a flow tags someone, a conversion, someone finishes a flow. Each event is posted as JSON and signed. The header x-sizzlego-signature reads t=TIME,v1=SIGNATURE, where the signature is HMAC SHA-256 of TIME.BODY with your signing secret. The secret is shown once when you add the address.

Failed deliveries are retried. After 10 failures in a row the address turns off and the page says why. Use Send a test to check it.

The Chat API

Make a token (shown once) and send it as Authorization: Bearer ...:

• GET /api/chat/v1/contacts?email=... finds people.
• POST /api/chat/v1/contacts/{id}/tags with {"tag": "volunteer"} adds a tag.
• POST /api/chat/v1/flows/{id}/start with {"contactId": "..."} starts a live flow. Meta's 24 hour rule still applies.

Up to 60 requests a minute per token. Revoke a token any time; it stops working at once.
