Post a town poll, Town today, an election, or a news link

These cards on the Newsletter page feed the GazetteGo neighborhood app that residents use. They are for town staff. If your residents do not use the app, you can skip them.

Steps

1. Go to Newsletter.
2. Town poll: type a Question, put at least two options one per line, pick when it Closes, and click Post poll. Each resident votes once on their home page.
3. Town today: fill any of Alert (optional, shown as a banner), Schools, Pool, Fields and Civic, and pick the trash, recycling and yard waste pickup days. Click Save town today. A blank cell is hidden.
4. Election notice: add a Title and Date, plus a polling place and sample ballot link if you have them. Click Post election.
5. Local news link: add the Source, Headline and Link (starting with https://), and a teaser if you like. Click Add headline.

Good to know

• A note at the top tells you each save worked, or says what was missing.
• News links show the headline and link only, never the full story.
• The Community health card counts residents with a home address, neighbor posts, concerns, RSVPs and poll votes this month.
