Reminders and messages for a signup

SignUpGo sends a reminder email to everyone on a signup the day before, at the hour you choose. Families can ask for a text reminder too. You can also send your own message to everyone on the signup.

Steps

Set the reminder time

1. Go to Signups and open the signup.
2. Open Edit details and spots.
3. Pick an hour in Reminder the day before at.
4. Click Save changes.

Message everyone on the signup

1. On the signup page, find Message the volunteers.
2. Enter a Subject and Message, like parking or a time change.
3. Tick Include the waitlist if they should hear it too.
4. Click Send message and confirm.

Good to know

• You also pick the reminder hour when you create the signup.
• Confirmation emails go out the moment someone signs up.
• The reminder includes the family's own link, so they can switch or cancel while changes are still allowed.
• Families who add a mobile number and tick the text box also get a text the day before.
• The person who made the signup gets a short summary email the day before.
• An email costs 1 credit. A text costs 3 credits per 160 characters. See How do messaging credits work?
