The single biggest waste of time at a tournament is the 45 minutes between pool play and the bracket, where the director is huddled over a laptop reseeding by hand. Done right, it should take 30 seconds.
What "done right" looks like
- Captains enter final pool scores

- Tiebreakers resolve (head-to-head → point diff → points allowed)
- Top finishers advance to the gold bracket, lower finishers to silver

Gold / silver brackets
For tournaments where every team should play 4+ games, split into gold (championship) and silver (consolation) brackets. The scheduler should handle this natively.
Manual override
