Collect money for paid spots and get paid

Any spot or item can have a price, like an $8 pizza plate. Families pay by card when they sign up. The money goes to your own Stripe account, then to your bank.

Before you start

An owner or admin connects Stripe once for the whole organization. A signup with paid spots cannot be published until then.

Steps

1. Go to Settings, then Billing.
2. Under Payouts, click Connect Stripe. Finish Stripe's form with your bank and tax details. It takes about five minutes.
3. When you build a signup, type a price next to any spot or item.
4. Leave We absorb the fee on paid spots off to add the fee to the family's total. Tick it to cover the fee yourself.
5. Publish. Families see the full price, fee included, before they pay.
6. Go to Money to see what came in and every payout to your bank.

Good to know

• The fee includes card processing. It is 5.9% + 60 cents per paid order on Free and 4.9% + 60 cents on Community. See How is the payment fee calculated?
• A paid spot is held for a short time while the family pays. If they do not finish, it opens up again.
• When a family cancels or you remove them, the full payment goes back to their card.
• SizzleGo pays out to your bank once a day, for every sale that has cleared in Stripe (usually about two business days after the family pays).
• To change your bank, click Update payout details in the same place.
